The scores are in — the latest batch of food hygiene ratings for Havering restaurants, cafes, takeaways and businesses have been revealed.

Environmental health officers from Havering have been busy this fortnight visiting businesses across the area to see if they are meeting hygiene requirements.

Based on guidelines set by the Food Standards Agency, inspectors look to see how clean the facilities are; what food safety management procedures are in place and how hygienic food handling is.

Ratings are then dished out from five to zero — with the higher score the better the result.

Asda Express Hornchurch – North Street PFS at Billet Lane, Hornchurch, rated 5 on September 30, 2025.

Hacton Lane Fish Bar & Kebab at Central Drive, Hornchurch, rated 5 on September 29, 2025.

Nisa Local at 1-3 Station Road, Harold Wood, rated 5 on September 29, 2025.

Now Peri Peri at 186 Hornchurch Road, Hornchurch, rated 5 on September 30, 2025.

Oh my Cod at 96 North Street, Hornchurch, rated 5 on September 30, 2025.

The Co-op at 105-105c Mungo Park Road, Rainham, rated 5 on September 29, 2025.

Businesses may have been reinspected since and this will be reflected in our next round-up.
