Four new padel courts opened in Romford following a £750,000 investment by Powerleague.
The courts are located at the King George Playing Fields club, alongside existing five-a-side and seven-a-side 3G football pitches.
The move is part of Powerleague's plans to expand the sport in the UK, with 76 courts across 18 clubs planned by 2026.

John Gillespie, chief commercial, customer and marketing officer at Powerleague, said: "We were thrilled to be bringing Padel to our Romford club.
"This investment reflected our commitment to diversifying the sports we offer and creating more opportunities for people to stay active and stay social."
