A home care service in Hornchurch has improved to 'good' following an inspection.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC), a watchdog for health and social care providers, visited Prior Care Limited in Park Lane last month.
Its inspection report was published on August 12, revealing the rating of the home care service has improved to 'good' from 'requires improvement'.
The domiciliary care company provides support to people living in their own home.
According to the inspection report, regulation breaches relating to time keeping on care visits and good governance that were found in 2023 have been addressed.
Prior Care Limited is no longer in breach of these regulations, having "had made improvements".
The assessment, which started on July 14 and ended on July 31, took into account 15 quality statements, as well as staff call logs and policies, and discussions with service user relatives.
The site was visited on July 21, where CQC observed systems in place that ensured staff were on time to care visits under the oversight of management.

Safe care was found to be ensured thanks to quality assurance systems, with a quality monitoring system providing feedback to contribute to "a culture of continuous improvement".
The inspector wrote: "There were safeguarding systems to safeguard people from abuse. Medicines were being managed safely.
"Risk assessments were in place to ensure people received safe care. Staff were recruited safely. Staff had completed key training to perform their role effectively. Infection control systems were in place to minimise infections."
