A man has been arrested after police responded to reports of a gun at an Underground station in Elm Park.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers were alerted to an incident inside Elm Park Underground station shortly after 7am this morning (June 19).
A team were dispatched to the scene and the station was closed during the operation.
Officers located a 61-year-old man and arrested him on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

A BTP spokesperson said: "Officers were called just after 7am today (19 June) to Elm Park Underground station following reports of a man in possession of a firearm.
Officers attended, and a 61-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and taken into custody."
