Search the Public Notice PortalA home in Harold Hill has been issued an enforcement notice after suspicions it is being used as a house in multiple occupation (HMO).
Details of the notice sent to 65 Charlbury Crescent have been published to the publicly accessible enforcement list on Havering Council's website.
In it, it is alleged that there has been a "breach of planning control", specifically concerning the "material change of use of a dwelling to a HMO".
This apparent breach has occurred without planning permission in the last decade, Havering Council says.
On May 12, the council's planning committee refused a proposal to change the use of the home into a HMO.
It has now been demanded that the use of the property as a HMO is stopped, and all associated rubbish and other materials accumulated as a result of the use removed.
Havering Council reiterated issues related to the suitability of the property when being used as a HMO.

This includes posing a "detrimental impact to the amenity of adjoining residents from noise and disturbance" as a result of increased comings and goings.
The council also made mention to the failure to "make adequate provision for the amenity of all six occupants" of the alleged HMO due to its proportions.
The notice must be acted upon in the next three months.
