A restaurant set to serve the people of Upminster with Caribbean soul food is opening later this month.
Kyice's Kitchen will welcome customers through its doors at 197 St Mary's Lane from May 30.
The two week countdown has begun and the team has confirmed to this paper that things are on track for the opening day.

An alcohol licence is among the finishing touches required to get them set up, with an application to Havering Council entered earlier this month.
According to the Public Notice Portal, it is applying for the council's permission for "The sale by retail of alcohol and the supply of alcohol".
The licensing bid is open to feedback until May 27, with any comments to be made in writing to the licensing authority.
