A nursery in Romford where staff form "affectionate bonds" with children has been praised by Ofsted following a recent visit.
Edenberries Day Nursery in Mawney Road was inspected by Ofsted on February 12 with the findings being made public last month.
The nursery was deemed 'good' in all four of its applicable categories: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management.
Inspectors described the nursery as a "safe and nurturing environment", epitomised by the staff there.

Staff were referred to as "role models" who "greet them (children) warmly on arrival and provide lots of individual attention" which helps children to "settle in quickly and build affectionate bonds".

The report also commended the importance placed on reading at Edenberries with the use of "cosy reading areas" that help to develop a "love of stories and an interest in reading from an early age".
Similarly, the report noted that children benefit from a "language-rich environment" where teachers sing, read and talk to children throughout the day.
Staff were found to provide additional support for children who speak English as an additional language as well as children with special educational needs and disabilities.
This includes using visual prompts such as picture timetables to help them understand routines and express themselves.
The report said that staff formed an enthusiastic team (Image: Edenberries Nursery) Inspectors found that leaders and staff form an "enthusiastic team" that "reflect on the provision together and make positive changes".
Parents are well informed about their children's daily experiences, Ofsted said, and describe staff as "friendly and approachable".
Headteacher and managing director Freda Jacobson said: "We are delighted to announce that our nursery was inspected in February, and the outcome was very positive.
"This success is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our managers, staff, and the trust placed in us by parents.
"At Edenberries, we provide a nurturing, warm, and friendly environment where children are encouraged to flourish.
She told parents the nursery provides "a broad range of activities that support every aspect of your child’s development".
"We are committed to helping our children fulfil their potential, preparing them for the next stage of their educational and life experiences."
