A shisha lounge in Romford hopes to open until 2am on Friday and Saturday.
Mentor Saphia has applied to vary the premises licence for Royal Lounge, in Victoria Road, to open later, sell alcohol later and play live and recorded music.
The lounge is currently open from 7am until midnight, seven days a week, but hopes to open from 6am until 1am between Monday to Thursday, and from 6am until 2am on Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday, Royal Lounge would again open at 6am but the closing time would remain the same.
The shisha bar is also seeking Havering Council's permission to sell alcohol until 12.30am from Monday to Thursday, 1.30am on Friday and Saturday, 11.30am on Sunday.
It hopes to provide late night refreshment, and play live and recorded music, until the same times.
Royal Lounge used to be called Jumeirah Palm Lounge but rebranded itself in February 2024, at the same time as it applied to open until midnight.
The current premises licence bid is open to feedback until February 24, and representations can be made in writing to Licensing Authority, London Borough of Havering Town Hall, Main Road, Romford RM1 3BD.
