A 25-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in central London.
The incident happened in Marble Arch near Bryanston Street just before 10pm yesterday (August 12).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man who had been stabbed.
He was taken to a central London hospital where his condition was assessed as not life threatening.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 21:57hrs on Monday, 12 August to reports of a stabbing at Marble Arch, W1.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended.
“At the scene a 25-year-old man was found on the street with knife injuries.
“He was treated at the scene before being taken by LAS to a central London hospital where his condition is not life threatening.
“At this early stage there has been no arrest.
“Enquiries are ongoing.
“A crime scene was put in place. This has since been closed.
“Anyone who witnessed this incident or has footage should call police on 101 or post on X @MetCC quoting 7677/12AUG.
