Building a gym or games room out of an old disused outbuilding is among the forward looking applications in Havering this week.

All 33 applications were received by Havering Council between April 30 to May 6.

The plans will be reviewed by the council before any final decisions are made.

Among the applications is the erection of the outbuilding in Sunnyside Gardens, Upminster, (P0609.24) for use as a gym or games room, will happen following the demolition of the existing outbuilding.

Several applications are to build homes or spaces to live or work.

In Ingrebourne Gardens, Upminster, there's an application (P0533.24) to build one a four-bedroom detached dormer bungalow with a dropped kerb, off-street parking, landscaping and amenities.

Alterations will be made to the windows of the existing house with the addition of solar panels. 

There's a proposal (P0393.24) to build a two-storey, three- bedroom, end terrace dwelling in Cardinal Way, Rainham, with with a dropped kerb for vehicle access and amenities.

In Wheatsheaf Road, Romford, there's an application (J0010.24) for prior notification of development to build an additional floor to create two self contained flats.

Expansion is the plan in Grove Park Road, in Rainham (P0456.24)

The application is to build a two-storey dwelling adjacent to a building where the application has applied for a first floor rear extension and erection of double garage to the rear garden.

There are multiple single storey rear extensions. 

In Hayburn Way, Hornchurch  (P0617.24) it will be by demolishing the existing conservatory.

Other single storey extension applications are in Goodwood Avenue, Hornchurch (P0621.24), Coleridge Road, Romford (Y0104.24), Mill Park Avenue, Hornchurch ( P0590.24) and Rom Crescent, Romford (Y0108.24),  Heather Way, Romford (Y0110.24)

In The Grove, Upminster, (P0595.24) the applicant also wants to alter the roof. 

In Marlborough Road, Romford, the application (P0591.24) is to convert a garage conversion into habitable use with erection of single storey front porch.

Any comments must be received within three weeks of May 7.
