With spring now upon us and warm weather slowly starting to make an appearance again, pub gardens are soon to be in high demand. 

We've put together a list of ten pubs across east London with pub gardens and rooftops for you to visit. 

The Holly Tree

You can find The Holly Tree in Dames Road, Forest Gate. 

Those planning on paying them a visit will find the pub's tropical garden, which also features a miniature railway. 

People wishing to hop on the miniature railway train have between 1pm and 4pm to do so. 

Not only does it have a large pub garden, The Holly Tree also has a conservatory where the sun can still be enjoyed. 

They are also dog friendly.

The Golden Fleece

This pub in Manor Park is located in Capel Road. 

The Golden Fleece has got a large beer garden and a children's play area. 

They have live sports showings, live music, karaoke nights and host parties for families in their pub garden. 

The pub has a dedicated page on its website with upcoming events for those who want to make a special trip.

The Culpeper 

The Culpeper in Commercial Street in Spitalfields has a unique rooftop area. 

Visitors are able to get great views of the London skyline from the 1,400 square feet rooftop bar. 

The rooftop also doubles as an ingredients garden for the pub who also serve food grown there. 

Those wishing to visit this pub can book online on its website to ensure you get a spot.

The Crown and Shuttle

This east London pub can be found in Shoreditch High Street. 

It offers outdoor seating in their pub garden, with both shaded and non-shaded areas, and also a terrace.

Seating includes large tables with benches and tables with chairs for smaller groups. 

The Crown and Shuttle also offers live sports and a private screening room for special occasions, including the upcoming Eurovision.

The Cherry Tree

Another dog-friendly pub this time in Dagenham. 

The Cherry Tree can be found in Wood Lane and offers a large pub garden with parasols. 

They also have a covered smoking area. 

Families with young children are welcome until 9pm and it has a Noah's Ark ballpark for youngsters to release some energy in at a small additional cost.

CRATE Brewery

A less typical venue is CRATE Brewery in Queen's Yard, Hackney Wick which is a craft beer bar and pizzeria. 

CRATE customers can enjoy the pub's canal side seating watching the boats go by. 

The bar and pizzeria has DJs, live screenings and music, as well as comedy events.

The People's Park Tavern

This pub is located in Victoria Park Road, in London Fields. 

The People's Park Tavern claims to have one of London's largest beer gardens and famed indoor-outdoor greenhaus. 

The pub can seat almost 600 guests and itself sits on the edge of Victoria Park. 

Seating includes heated cabins as well as picnic benches. 

They also host a range of events from pop-up cocktail bars, live music and quizzes that can be found on its website

The Three Travellers 

Another Dagenham pub with a garden, The Three Travellers can be found in Wood Lane and offer a large, grassed pub garden. 

They also offer a pool table.

Prospect of Whitby

This pub in Wapping Wall, Wapping claims to be London's oldest riverside pub, dating back to 1520. 

Visitors can expect views of the River Thames from the pub, which also offers a first floor balcony and terrace as well as a pub garden. 

The pub hosts a number of events throughout the months, which can be found on its website

The Goose 

This pub can be found in South Street, a short distance away from Romford station. 

It claims to have the largest pub garden in Romford and also offers visitors events throughout the week. 

These include quiz nights, parties and karaoke.
