The group, which has amassed a community of more than 130 million subscribers in total, first launched the fried chicken brand for delivery only in late 2021.

However, they have since expanded into food courts in response to an "overwhelming demand and popularity".

Now a Sides restaurant will be opening at the West Thurrock centre today (April 11), with Josh and Ethan plus special guests attending and handing out free chicken to the public.

The store opening keeps the team on track with the the aim to open more than 200 stores across the UK in the next 10 years.

Previously, The Sidemen were due to surprise visitors on the opening day of their Merry Hill shopping centre restaurant in November, but were asked to cancel by Dudley Council after as many as 10,000 people were expected to turn up.
