Home care workers who feel motivated to “go the extra mile” have won their company a “good employers” five-star rating.

They took part in an anonymous survey by the Workbuzz independent ‘employee engagement’ experts to vote on their jobs at the Home Instead Romford, Hornchurch, Rainham and Dagenham care service.

The survey found 100 per cent of the company’s care professionals were motivated and 96pc saying they have access to the training they need to do their job well.

“The award shows this home care company’s commitment to improve working lives,” Workbuzz chief executive Steven Frost said. “The five-star programme is based on confidential employee feedback to identify where staff are pleased to work and feel motivated.”

Yet the company in Church Road, Romford, has 15 care professional vacancies to fill. The owner, Kiran Agrawal, is calling for more recruits to join the team.

The survey gave the company a record ‘employee engagement’ score of 91.
