The Brewery shopping centre in Romford has reopened after a man was stabbed.

Police were called to the shopping centre's car park yesterday (February 20) at 12.53pm to reports of an injured man.

Witnesses had described seeing a man with a knife injury to the back, and the shopping centre was shut for the rest of the day. Police have since arrested a man in connection with the stabbing.

A spokesperson for The Brewery today (February 21) confirmed it has fully reopened.

People in Romford, including Daniel Farooque, shopkeeper of Dr Gadgets Romford on Brewery Walk for more than 10 years, had expressed their shock after the incident.

"I saw people rushing back and forth," Daniel said yesterday. "It's very worrying that this happened - it was very shocking."
