Demolishing a warehouse to make way for residential homes is among planning application submissions this week.

From a "granny annex" to various housing developments across the borough, we have included a range of proposals for you to look at.

In Grenfell Avenue, Hornchurch,  there are plans to demolish the existing single storey warehouse buildings and build seven two storey residential terraced houses (P1864.23).

A proposal (P1843.23) to build a two-part double-storey side/rear extension in Halesworth Road, in Romford is also listed.

In Church Road, Harold Wood, there are plans (P1740.23)  for the erection of a two storey two bedroom semi-detached home with parking and associated amenities after the demolition of an existing garage.

In Upper Brentwood Road, Romford, in Squirrels Heath ward the proposal involves the demolition of an existing bungalow and construction of  two semi-detached homes and one detached building.

The  application (P1900.23) includes new dropped kerbs and vehicle crossovers for three new off-street car parking spaces, cycle parking and refuse storage.

In St Edwards Ward a planning application has been submitted (P1752.23) for the change of use for the ground floor of St James House, in Eastern Road, Romford.

The change is from an office classification to mixed use comprising offices and non-residential education use. 

Another application (P1770.23) is to  change an outbuilding to create a granny annex at the rear of garden n Betterton Road Rainham, with an additional side window on the north-east side.

Any comments must be received within three weeks of August 29.
