A fast food outlet in Romford has applied for a license to serve alcohol into the night.

Flippin' Grill in 107 Victoria Road, Romford, has applied to Havering Council to sell alcohol between 11am and 10pm from Monday to Saturday.

On Sundays and bank holidays it would serve alcohol from 11am until 2.30pm.

This would include the on and off sale of alcohol and delivery from drivers at the fast food shop or third parties such as UberEats.

This application is open to feedback from December 28 this year until January 16 in 2024.

The premises license application has been made under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003, which includes a provision on the regulation of the sale and supply of alcohol.

Flippin' Grill would have to satisfy criteria under this law before it can do so.
