A coffee chain with outlets across London has opened a new unit at a Havering station to serve commuters.

Coffee Station Co., that operates at 24 stations like Barking, Walthamstow and Dagenham East, launched their newest site in Harold Wood last month.

Brand co-owner Ali Mehmet, 47, told the Recorder that he had been wanting to open in Harold Wood since 2020 as he believed the region “needed one”.

The idea behind the business, he said, is to offer reasonably priced food and drinks, fast service and good quality products to people who might need refreshments while waiting for their trains.

Ali said: “The hope is to keep growing and keep serving local communities."
