Hackney is to welcome a pop up café bar that will host a string of workshops to raise funds for charity.

When Casa Brugal – as in Dominican rum brand Brugal – opens near the vibrant Columbia Road later this month, the neighbourhood bar and café will pedal coffee, rum-based cocktails and creative workshops while supporting local charity FoodCycle.

It temporarily takes over A Portuguese Love Affair on Hackney Road, and has collaborated with cake makers Lily Vanilli, east London lifestyle brand Earl of East, award winning bar Three Sheets, and luxurious chocolate makers Lucocoa to bring the pop up to life.
