A man has been arrested after a gun was seized by police.
Officers from Met Police’s East Area Command searched a residential address in Eaton Drive, Collier Row when they found the gun.
On Wednesday (October 4), the man was arrested and taken into custody by officers on suspicion of possessing the firearm with “intent and threats to kill”.

Officers also found other items at the address thought to be used in the production of Class A drugs. The man was further arrested in connection with this.
A crime scene remains in place at the residence, and the man continues to be in custody.
Further enquiries into the case are ongoing.
