Office conversions and home extensions are among a range of planning applications submitted to Havering Council this week bringing potential change to some areas.

The applications cover a variety of proposals, from extensions to people's houses to demolishing conservatories to herald something new or even construct multiple homes

Planning applications will be reviewed by the council before any final decisions are made.

One application (P1241.23) is to demolish an existing storage office to right of a building in Bryant Avenue, Romford, and construct new a single storey building the same height, but with a new reception entrance, storage and boardroom back and the replacement of all windows and doors. It will be finished with cladding.

Another application in Collier Row (P1090.23) is to partially demolish and existing building and replace it with a block containing 7 self-contained flats.

In Marshalls & Rise Park ward, an application has been submitted (P1180.23) to build a part single, part two storey rear extension to the main building in Helmsdale Road.

The proposal also includes a two storey side extension to create a new three bedroom end terrace dwelling with vehicle crossover and parking.

Another application (P1216.23) is for the creation of new one bedroom detached house on land at the back of 22 Cotliegh Road.

In London Road (P1121.23) is a proposed shop conversion into three flats.

Planning application J0024.23 is to change office space into a three bedrooom dwelling in Rush Green Road.

In Parsonage Road, Rainham, (P1257.23) permission is sought to demolish an existing garage and build a new self-contained two bedroom two storey home with front parking and a back garden.

Meanwhile in Upminster Road, South Rainham (P1261.23) the proposal is to convert an existing bungalow into a two storey house to include a single storey rear and two storey front extension, new external finishes and new garage in the rear garden.

In Atlanta Boulevard, in Havering (J0026.23) permission is for change of use of the first and second floors from commercial to residential.

In Writtle Walk, Havering (J0025.23) a similar application is a change of use of a first and second floor existing office unit into a one bedroom self-contained flat.

Any comments must be received within three weeks of August 29.
