Havering Council has received a series of planning applications for a range of developments across the borough in the last week.

These cover a variety of proposals, from the creation of a seven bedsit home from an existing house to building a gym in a back garden.

Planning applications will be reviewed by the council before any final decisions are made.

In Benhurst Avenue, Hornchurch, a planning application (P1226.23) has been made to build a part single, part two-storey side and rear extension.

The proposal would involve demolishing an existing single storey rear extension at the property.

In Penrith Road, Romford, there are plans (P1098.23) to build a two-storey side extension to an existing house.

The applicant has also asked for a 'change of use', which would transform the property into a seven-bedsit house in multiple occupation (HMO) with communal kitchens and bathrooms.

In Dunstable Close, a proposal (P1175.23) has been submitted to demolish an existing shed and build a single storey rear and side extension.

Plans to carry out a rear-facing dormer loft conversion and an extension to a ground floor kitchen in Collerne Street are also set to be considered (P1235.23).

In Romford's Mawneys Ward, three applications have been submitted to build a single-storey rear extension.

These are for homes in Hulse Avenue (Y0208.23), Collier Row Road (P1246.23) and Horndon Road (P1201.23).

In Weald Way, Romford there are plans (P1155.23) to demolish an existing building and build a gym in the back garden.

A part single, part two storey side and rear extension, with accompanying garage conversion and extension to existing loft conversion is proposed (P1224.23) in Slewins Lane, Hornchurch.

Three applications for extensions have also been submitted in Upminster.
