A football-mad schoolboy has completed a challenge of getting to all 20 Premier League stadiums in under 36 hours.

Harrison Nolan, 11, from Hornchurch, achieved the feat with his dad Andrew to support the National Deaf Children’s Society’s charity fundraising.

Harrison, who is deaf himself, devised the route which ended up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

His dash started at St James’s Park in Newcastle at 6am on July 24.

The pair drove around the north and Midlands before heading back down south to finish at Tottenham's home the next day.

The father-and-son duo jumped out of their car at each stadium for a quick selfie snapshot and tape a short video of Harrison saying the stadium name and the team that plays there in British Sign Language.

“I feel happy having seen all the Premier League grounds,” Harrison said in sign language. “I saw some amazing stadiums and sights and all for a good cause.

“Dad and I support Spurs — but Old Trafford and the Etihad in Manchester were my favourite grounds. I’d like to go back but don’t think dad is keen to drive for a while!”

Harrison, who lives with his parents and twin sisters Georgia and Charlotte, hopes to play for the England deaf football team one day.

He chose the National Deaf Children’s Society charity because of its help for his family during his early years. The charity supports 50,000 children and their families in Britain.

The father-and-son duo have already raised £1,500 towards their £2,000 target for the charity.

But Andrew was in no hurry to get behind the wheel and repeat the challenge, after all that driving for a day-and-a-half.

He admitted: “It was tougher than I thought, just sitting in a car all that time. Your back and legs start to seize up.”

The only Premier League ground the pair had previously been to was Tottenham. Now they’ve hit the back of the net all over the country.
