The following cases were heard in Romford and Barkingside Magistrates’ Courts in the week starting July 10.

They include a 15-year-old caught with a knife and salesman who was flogging fake Louis Vuitton goods.

A 15-year-old from Chigwell 

Pleaded guilty that in Romford in June he was carrying a knife in public. 

Sent to a youth offender panel. 

Leonie Baptiste, 66, of Tresham Road in Barking 

Pleaded guilty that between December 29 and June 23 he failed to remove and properly dispose of rubbish and waste materials, including refuse sacks, having been served with a notice by Barking and Dagenham Council

Fined £1,000 and ordered to pay a £400 surcharge and £337 in costs. 

Ashley Johnson, 30, of High Street in Hornchurch 

Pleaded guilty that between October 10 and 19 last year he sold fake Louis Vuitton wallets, bags and rucksacks. 

Given a 18 week sentence, suspended for one and a half years. Includes 200 hours of unpaid work. 

Kasim Sami, 29, of Aldborough Road South in Seven Kings 

Pleaded guilty that in June he assaulted a woman by beating her. 

Given a community order including 200 hours of unpaid work. 

Francisc Strajijar, 45, of no fixed abode 

Pleaded guilty that on February 18, 2021, he was drunk and disorderly in Ilford and harassed and assaulted a police officer. 

Given an 18-week sentence suspended for one and a half years. 

Chalana Elizabeth Robinson, 52, of Ilford Hill in Ilford 

Pleaded guilty that on March 20 she assaulted a woman. Magistrates found that the attack was unprovoked and racially aggravated. Also pleaded guilty to assaulting a man on March 9. 

Given a 180-day sentence suspended for one and a half years. 

Lucas Fideli, 29, of Tallow Close in Dagenham 

Pleaded guilty that on June 5 on St Marks Place in Dagenham he had a knife. 

Given a four-month sentence suspended for a year. 

Andre Joshua Ideh, 19, of Birdbrook Close in Dagenham 

Pleaded guilty that on February 20 in Dagenham he had a large machete in a black sheath. 

Given a six-month sentence suspended for one year.
