Two more teens have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a boy in a park.
A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are in police custody.
On Sunday (July 9) a boy, 16, was stabbed in West Ham Park in Forest Gate.
Just after 5.30pm that day, officers responding to a report of a stabbing found the boy with wounds and provided emergency first aid.
London Ambulance Service paramedics and London's Air Ambulance then attended the scene.
The victim remains in a life threatening condition at an east London hospital.
Ch Supt Simon Crick, lead for policing in Newham, said: "My thoughts at this time are with the victim’s friends and family. As a father myself I can only imagine the pain they are suffering at this time.
"This incident will send shockwaves through our communities and I appeal to the many people who will have been in the park at the time of the stabbing to come forward and speak to us about what they may have seen."

Two other boys, both 16, were previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody.
