Now, London has been named among them in a list of the world's prettiest cities to visit this summer.
Created by Conde Nast Traveller, the list helps you pick your perfect city break during the summer months.
From the likes of New York City, Melbourne, Paris, Berlin and even Dubai, the list features some of the most popular destinations in the world.
London named the prettiest city in the world
It might not be a surprise to some that London was named the top, with its rich history, bold architecture and buzzing nightlife, the capital really does offer it all and more.
Conde Nast Traveller described London as a "spot for a picture-perfect summer city break."
They added that the capital is a "green city" during the summer month with parks upon parks filled with dozens soaking in every ounce of sunshine they can.
Away from the open fields of parks, the travel experts even suggest that buildings in London become prettier at summertime with the likes of rooftop bars opening up across the capital offering breathtaking views of the skyline and above the city.
Outside of London's outdoor eatery options, there are also plenty of activities on offer, as Conde Nast shares: "The city has a serious collection of lidos."
