A man has been released from hospital after a car crash in Upminster, police say.
Front Lane in Cranham was blocked by police at 4.40pm on Monday (May 15) said Peter Watt, a resident.
A photograph appears to show a lamppost brought down and damage to a nearby front garden.

A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.20pm on 15 May to reports of a collision in Front Lane, Upminster.
"We treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital."
Police confirmed the man has now been discharged.
A Met Police spokesperson previously said it seemed the car crashed into a lamppost and the driver appeared to be injured, but no-one else seemed to be hurt.
According to the AA, the road was partially blocked and traffic queues built up due to the crash on Front Lane, both ways around Plough Rise.
The 284 bus route was also affected, it added.
