An 18-year-old woman who was caught with a zombie knife in a park in Dagenham has appeared in court.
Gabriele Liubianecaite, from Aldborough Road South, Seven Kings, was caught with the weapon in Parsloes Park on February 26 last year.
The teen appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on April 12 where she pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon and giving that offensive weapon to another person.
Liubianecaite then appeared at the same court for sentencing on May 4.
She was given a six-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.
This means she will not see the inside of a prison cell unless she commits another offence in the next year and a half.
The court also ordered that the zombie knife be forfeited and destroyed.
