A woman has died after a crash this morning in Rainham.
A lorry collided with a car in New Road, at the junction with Wennington Road, according to the Met Police who were called around 8.30am today (April 19).
London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and London's Air Ambulance were in attendance.

Despite the best efforts of medics, the female driver did not survive. Police are conducting enquiries to inform her next of kin.
New Road remains closed both ways from B1335 Wennington Road to B1335 Sandy Lane following the crash.
A detour is in operation for bus route 372.
