A boy in his early teens has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possessing a knife after another boy was found injured in Gidea Park.
Police attended near to Gidea Park Library in Balgores Lane at about 4.30pm on Wednesday (March 22).and found the injured boy, also in his early teens, with minor cuts to his hands.

Residents in the area reported seeing police vehicles on social media.

One resident commented: “I walked down the alley by the library on my way home from work tonight. There were a couple of police officers there and I did wonder why!”
Officers recovered a knife from the scene. The arrested boy remains in custody and detectives from the East Area Command Unit are investigating the case, the Met Police said.
