Plans for a new shop or restaurant and a two-bedroom flat in Collier Row have been withdrawn.
The application, submitted by AJV Developments, had requested approval to construct the commercial unit, on which the flat would sit, on the corner of Collier Row Road and Ramsden Drive.
It followed a pre-application enquiry, which took place between October 2021 and February 2022, during which concerns were raised by Havering Council officers.

These included the quality of the proposed accommodation and the potential it would result in a “cluttered and cramped” layout.
The new plans were meant to have resolved all such issues raised, according to architect firm Majcher-Architect.
Two parking spaces were also due to included, with the building’s exterior intended to be in-keeping with the Art Deco frontage seen elsewhere on the road.
