A craft beer chain is opening a bar in Upminster later this week.

BrewDog is launching its latest venue in Station Road on Friday (November 11).

The venue is the former NatWest building and a spokesperson for the chain said it will span more than 5,000 square feet.

It will cater for around 300 covers and is to initially open on two floors, with a third-floor roof terrace and bar set to launch in spring 2023.

Lana Copping, general manager of BrewDog Upminster, said the chain is excited to open in the town.

She added: "The building enhances BrewDog’s industrial vibe and definitely brings an iconic new bar to the high street.

"With an extensive selection of beers, and a delicious menu we look forward to welcoming the local community and visitors.”

The bar will also feature 70 taps of craft beer from BrewDog and a range of guest breweries.
