A man was found with head and facial injuries in Collier Row after he was allegedly attacked.
Police said he was taken to hospital after being discovered in Fullers Close on Saturday night (November 5).
Officers had been called just before 10.10pm to reports of a man "being attacked", a Met spokesperson said.
His condition is not life-threatening or life-changing, they added.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and was taken into custody.
The Met said its enquiries are continuing.
