Emergency services were called to a head-on collision between two cars in Upminster this morning.
The occupants of both cars were taken as a priority to Queen’s Hospital, Romford.
The cars collided at about 9am in the wet conditions on Sunnings Lane.
Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit attended, and fire crews cut people out of both cars – one reported to be a 28-year-old woman, the other an 18-year-old man.
London Ambulance Service sent two ambulance crews and a paramedic in a car. The woman was treated for back pain and the man for neck pain.
