A Brentwood bakery is supporting a school’s breakfast club.
Greggs, in High Street, is providing the food for Shelley Primary School in Ongar, to run its club.
The scheme is being run in association with Loughton building contractors Gracelands Maintenance Services Ltd.
The Greggs Foundation manager, Jackie Crombie, said: “We know this is going to give our young people a great start to their day and the number signing up means they really want to have breakfast together.”
As the company is a partner of the BBC Children in Need Appeal it brought along Pudsey Bear to the first breakfast club last week.
