A pensioner suffered a fractured hip after a collision involving a supermarket mobility scooter in Rainham.
John Green, 80, was injured in the Tesco store in Bridge Road.
An electric mobility scooter collided with him while he was in a disability trolley.
His son Johnny Green, 50, said: “It’s been awful, he’s lost weeks of spending time with his grandchildren.”
A Tesco spokesman said the company wished Mr Green a speedy recovery.
