Three Brentwood School cadets soldiered their way through a frosty 3km cross country run to raise money for charity.
Students Blake Redrup, James Cooke and Robert Carver braved the icy ground conditions last week for Help for Heroes.
The trio are part of the school’s Combined Cadet Force.
Sixth former Blake said: ”I’ve been wanting to do a run for charity while wearing a full army pack for a few years now, but this year I finally managed to get other cadets involved. So far we’ve managed to raise £160 but we’re keen to raise even more.”
