Chafford Gorges Nature Park is hoping to break a world record after building an enormous bird box.
Education and community officer Andrew Siddle, with some help from south Chafford ward councillor Tunde Ojetola, constructed the house at the park before children and their parents decorated it with hand prints. They also wrote a promise to wildlife underneath.
The box measures 10 feet by five feet, which the team believe is the largest ever built. However they will have to wait to find out from Guinness World Records officials if the record has in fact been broken.
