What he has to say: As someone born in Romford and having lived here my whole life I’ve seen the crisis our hospital is in first hand.
Queen’s Hospital, in Rom Valley Way, is at breaking point and needs more funding to deal with staff shortages.
Securing funding will be my number one priority as Romford’s Member of Parliament.
If elected I will give Romford a hospital we can be proud of.
We are increasingly becoming a more unequal society with seemingly one rule for the rich and another for the rest of us.
I would ensure those at the tip pay their fair share.
By reversing the Tories’ millionaire tax cut and tackling tough measures to tackle tax-dodging, which sees us lose over £4 billion in tax receipts every year, we could increase the funding to Queen’s Hospital and protect our public services from Tory cuts and give working families the support they need.
As Romford’s MP that is what I will work towards.
If I am elected the first thing I will do is: Secure more funding for Queen’s Hospital to deal with the staff shortages that have left our hospital in crisis.
