Traffic is mounting on the A127 following a crash between a car and a lorry carrying giant metal rods this morning (July 2).
Photos from the scene appear to show a partially-crushed Toyota prius with its rear window implaced by a giant metal rods hanging from the front end of a freight truck.
The damaged car and lorry are blocking the carriageway between Little Warley Hall Lane and junction 29 of the M25 heading towards Romford.
The accident occured Londonbound and the carriage is strewn with debris.
Eastbound traffic has also been slowed down.
