Two people have been arrested for alleged "child abduction" after a three-year-old girl was reported missing in east London this afternoon, police say.

Police issued an appeal for help to find the girl on Thursday - June 30 - after she was allegedly "taken from her legal carers".

The Met has confirmed the child has now been found safe and well, while two people have been arrested.
