A look at issues of today: I don't fancy being hit with an octopus

It's been a great week for online videos.
We saw the video a 40-week-pregnant woman made of her supermarket delivery driver refusing to take her shopping up two flights of stairs.
She had also asked for the goods to be put in carrier bags and he hadn’t done that either. While the debate online raged about if she should expect someone to carry things for her or not I think we can all agree trying to move all your shopping without bags is difficult.
When you’re in a supermarket, you load all of your items onto the conveyor belt and the cashier will say, “Do you need bags?”
The fact that you are stood there without bags for life in your hands should be a clue. You’d need to have so many pockets to be able to fit all that in you’d look like an accidental pearly king or queen.
Some people asked why she stood there filming the driver instead of carrying her shop upstairs but we don’t know her, maybe she films everything in her life like some sort of argumentative dash-cam for the non-driver.
Also this week the internet had that amazing video of a seal throwing an octopus at a man in a canoe.
That is a mean move. I have never been hit with an octopus but I don’t fancy it.
They have beaks, their tentacles can rip skin, and at the very least their ink could leave a tricky stain.
But it is when you view these two videos at the same time that you get really annoyed.
We go to such lengths to keep plastic bags out of the rivers and oceans we leave pregnant women trying to juggle a month’s groceries and what thanks do we get? An octopus in the face.
