Romford actress Lucinda Rhodes will be starring in Nunsense at the Brookside Theatre.
Lucinda, who has just finished filming a true crime thriller called Fall Of The Essex Boys is set to perform in the musical at the venue in Eastern Road, Romford, from Monday to Saturday, December 1.
Sister Julia, Child of God, the convent cook, has accidentally poisoned 52 of her fellow sisters at the Little Sisters of Hoboken nunnery.
Heartbroken and in dire need of funds to bury their last four dearly departed sisters, the five surviving “Little Hobos” take over the school auditorium to raise money showcasing their hidden talents.
The show features star turns, tap dancing nuns, an audience quiz and plenty of comic surprises.
The musical has won four Outer Critics Circle Awards, including Best Off-Broadway Musical, Best Book and Best Music.
