For the first time in 10 years, Lee Hurst is touring again.

And you can catch him in action at the Civic Theatre, Fairfield Road, Chelmsford, on October 6 as he presents his new game show, Man V Woman – an amusing look at the difference between the sexes.

Lee, originally from Poplar, east London, became a warm-up act for TV’s Have I Got News for You. He then went on to become a regular panellist on BBC 1’s They Think It’s All Over, appearing in six series from 1995 until 1998.

In 1997 Lee created Bring Me the Head of Light Entertainment, a successful Channel 5 series which ran for three years.

However, in the late nineties he returned to his stand-up roots and opened The Backyard Comedy Club in Bethnal Green.

Man V Woman is two hilarious shows in one.

The first half is Lee at his finest performing his side splitting stand-up act.

In the second half he presents his unique new game show where the two genders will be pitted against each other in a series of tasks and questions highlighting their differences.

The audience will decide who wins, but will they be honest or vote along their gender lines? Make sure you are there to cast your vote!

This show is suitable for ages 16 and up.

All tickets are £16. Contact the box office for full pricing information on 01245 606505 or book online at www.chelmsford.gov.uk/theatres.
