Wartime songs and festive melodies will ring through Hornchurch when Forces Sweethearts at Christmas makes a welcome return to the Queen’s Theatre in Billet Lane, Hornchurch on Sunday December 9 at 4pm.

Audiences will also hear from a variety of other female stars of the day: demob sweethearts Alma Cogan and Doris Day with American favourites Judy Garland, Dinah Shore and Margaret Whiting. The icing on the Christmas cake will be festive hits from The Andrews Sisters, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Johnny Matthis and Danny Kaye.
Forces Sweethearts have enchanted audiences all over the country and worked with the best in the business including veteran comic Sir Norman Wisdom and 50s stars The Beverley Sisters.
