Endorsed by a music legend, The Bowie Xperience which has toured every corner of the UK, has arrived in Redbridge for a one night spectacular.
The unique tribute show, featuring songs from 1969 to the present day has been acknowledged by the man myself after the band performed at big venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the Phoneix Theatre, London.
The audience can expect to be taken on a musical journey starting with the singer’s Ziggy Stardust phase and songs from Space Oddity and Diamond Dogs.
The show, initially called Spaceboy, was first established in 1997 and took inspiration from the album, Outside.
Organiser, Terry Austen, said: “The show is a follow-up to The Rolling Clones which was very successful. The theme of the show is Bowie’s retirement which was announced in January.
“I am a huge fan myself and I want everyone, young and old, to remember the big hits and keep the music alive. The whole evening will be a huge celebration of 1970s music.”
The Bowie Experience band will also be joined on the night by local band Dilemma.
At Ilford Sports Club, High Road, Ilford on July 14. Doors open at 6pm. To book call Terry Austen 07908 070 174. Tickets are £8 or £5 for under 16s.
