A new indoor activity venue is set to open after the refurbishment of a former trampoline park in Harold Hill.
Oxygen Romford, in Spilsby Road, has taken over the site of Jump Evolution with a £1.3m investment made by Oxygen Activeplay towards its transformation.
The 26,000 sq ft space will include an 'excite' tunnel, VIP party areas and an enhanced café.
A spokesperson for the group said there will be a “state-of-the-art” air track, a new climbing area offering varying degrees of difficulty, competitive two v two race walls, cargo-style climbing, and a bubble climbing wall specifically built for the Romford site.
The trampolining area will be upgraded to incorporate a fusion of ‘trampolining-parkour-freerunning’, they said, while a thrill slide and trapeze swing are also being added.

A giant inflatable air bag, several performance areas and a new dedicated soft play area will also be a part of the new centre, she claimed.
The reimagined park will also feature eight new birthday party sections, they added.
The park is said to create 20 new jobs and will employ staff members of the former Jump Evolution.
Ben Peach, manager of Oxygen Romford, said: “The all new Oxygen Romford will build on the success and affection held for Jump Evolution.
“We can’t wait to open the doors and unleash big-time active fun just in time for the school holidays.”
Oxygen Romford opens on December 22.
