Breathtaking song from the acclaimed Opera Novella will fill the Queen’s Theatre when they perform the popular opera La Bohème later this month.
Performed in full costume, Puccini’s powerful masterpiece is sung in English by the multi-award-winning principal singers and six-piece chamber orchestra of one of the UK’s most dynamic, exciting ensembles.
The evening explodes with sweeping tunes, a passionate story and stunning singing.
La Bohème charts the loves and lives of a group of poor but happy-go-lucky Bohemians in Paris. Poet Rodolfo’s life is transformed when he meets the beautiful yet fragile seamstress Mimi, while painter Marcello still yearns for his old flame Musetta.
Audiences will adore this poignant celebration of youth, devotion and true friendships.
Musical Director Bernie Lafontaine arranges the full orchestral score for his ensemble, capturing all the rich textures of the orchestra, delivering an authentic opera experience.
Opera Novella incorporates professional, talented singers into their shows who have performed at some of the top opera houses throughout the UK including: The Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Scottish Opera and Welsh National Opera.
La Bohème at the Queen’s Theatre, Billet Lane, Hornchurch on Friday, November 23 at 7.30pm.
