Hits from the planet’s biggest rock ’n’ roll band come to the Queen’s Theatre,

Hailed “the most famous Stones band in England” by none other than Sir Mick Jagger himself, The Counterfeit Stones celebrate their 21st anniversary with a “sham rock” experience, titled 19th Bogus Breakdown – a comical corruption of the Stones 1965 hit 19th Nervous Breakdown.
This tribute to the Stones is a skilfully mixed cocktail of classic hits, brilliant retro hair and costumes with plenty of humour, which “mockuments” the band’s history from 1962.
Hugely popular with the tens of thousands who’ve watched them up and down the country, The Counterfeit Stones have also proved a hit at a wide variety of high-profile engagements over the years – from Buckingham Palace and Bill Clinton to Chelsea FC and the Harry Potter after-party!
They’ve worked with Oasis, Motorhead and Status Quo and appeared on BBC, MTV and Channel 4.
They band are Steve Elson (Nick Dagger); Bill Lennon (Keef Rickard); John Prynn (Charlie Mott); Alan Mian (Bill Hymen); David Birnie (playing Bryon Jones, Mick Taylor-Made and Ronnie B Goode) and Holger Skepeneit (playing Manfred Mann, Nicky Popkiss and Chuck Ravel).
n Tickets cost £21, £19 for concessions, from 01708 443333 or via www.queens-theatre.co.uk.
