Laura Ziepe launched her debut novel Essex Girls at the Brickyard Bar and Grill on Tuesday.

She says it is one of the first pieces of popular fiction to feature the Essex girl stereotype prominently.

The Harold Wood writer, who was once offered a part in ITV2 series The Only Way is Essex (Towie), was joined by current star Danni Park-Dempsey.

Laura will be signing copies of the book at Waterstone’s, Romford, on March 2.

The novel is out today through Harper Collins.
