Best Fourball Ever at Quinta do Lago

Golfers have the chance to win the trip of a lifetime to Quinta do Lago, thanks to Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley and equipment manufacturer TaylorMade.

The free-to-enter Best Fourball Ever compeition offers the winner and three friends to live like golfing legends for a week, after being flown by private jet to Portugal.

Chauffeur-driven to a private luxury villa, the four will enjoy a five-star experience, including a private chef for their seven-day visit and the chance to meet McGinley and have a personal club-fitting consultation with Europe’s captain at the state-of-the-art TaylorMade Fitting Centre.

The foursome will be dressed in the latest adidas gear and presented with a set of new TaylorMade clubs, while also being VIP guests of the European Tour at the Portugal Masters.

The group will enjoy unlimited golf throughout their stay at the luxury resort, including the chance to test out the newly-refurbished championship North Course.

The closing date for entries is June 22 and John Dwyer, chief executive at Quinta do Lago, said: “It is a very exciting time at Quinta do Lago; significant recent investments have ensured the resort remains the freshest, most family-friendly venue on the Algarve.

“With a wide range of new packages designed to suit everybody’s requirements and a series of summer events to excite young and old, including the relaunch of our remodelled North course, there’s never been a better time to visit the resort.

“Entering our fifth decade, we wanted something special to celebrate, and believe this competition offers golfers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience one of the leading resorts in Europe, while enjoying the brand new North Course and unrivalled hospitality with three friends.”

Quinta do Lago has established itself as one of the most highly regarded golf and real-estate developments in the Algarve since opening in 1972.

Just 15 minutes from Faro airport and among 2,000 acres of the picturesque Ria Formosa Natural Park, the resort offers residents and guests an unparalleled location benefiting from a year-round temperate climate.

Quinta do Lago has three 18-hole championship courses – Laranjal, South and North – matched by outstanding practice facilities.

And extensive leisure facilities guarantee there is plenty to keep everyone occupied, with tennis, cycling, watersports and horse-riding also available.
